幾乎所有英語為母語學(xué)校里都會(huì)專門教孩子學(xué)習(xí)這些常用詞。

掌握了一定數(shù)量的Sight Words，孩子們就能比較順利地開始自我閱讀了。

因?yàn)槎鄶?shù)兒童讀物其中約75%的用詞就是這些Sight Words。

Sight Words，顧名思義，就是一入視覺就立即能反應(yīng)的詞匯。

Sight Words 是兒童閱讀初期的常用詞，約有220個(gè)。

它是由美國學(xué)者 Dolch 針對(duì)英語兒童讀物做了系統(tǒng)分析和統(tǒng)計(jì)后整理出來的最常使用的詞。

這些詞在英語教科書，圖書，報(bào)章，雜志中的出現(xiàn)率為60-85%。

有了這220個(gè)詞，閱讀的文章中，就意味著60%的單詞都認(rèn)識(shí)。

然后再配合相應(yīng)的閱讀難度的書進(jìn)行閱讀練習(xí)，就會(huì)極大地提高閱讀速度，以及閱讀流利性，進(jìn)而會(huì)有助于對(duì)文章內(nèi)容的理解。

這部分詞匯在北美的學(xué)校教育中是小學(xué)三年級(jí)必須要完成的內(nèi)容，而這些卻是中國的英語教學(xué)中缺失的部分。
